On April 23, INTERMODAL ASIA 2026 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center entered its vibrant second day. Boxplus once again took the stage at the official Spotlight Theatre, successfully hosting the themed forum “Smart Supply Chain Powered by IoT”.
The forum gathered leading industry experts from shipping lines, cold-chain logistics, terminal operations, and container management centers. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions around key topics such as smart dry containers, cold-chain visibility, port IoT collaboration, and end-to-end supply chain digitalization — continuously drawing strong attention across the exhibition.
Industry Leaders Gather to Share Real-World Insights
The forum was moderated by Ms. Afra Guo , Managing Director of Boxplus. Building on the first-day forum focused on IoT ecosystem co-creation, this session shifted attention toward the practical value of smart supply chain implementation, fully demonstrating the real-world capabilities of the IBOX product family across cross-border shipping, cold-chain transport, port operations, and container asset management. A distinguished lineup of speakers shared frontline insights, including:
Mr. Luo Jian, Vice General Manager of COSCO SHIPPING (Qingdao) and General Manager of Yantai Zhonghan Ferry
Mr. Dai Hao, General Manager of CIMC Worlian Fresh Logistics Technology
Mr. Yuan Jianhua, Head of Business Department, Jinjiang Shipping
Mr. Zhang Jinyang, General Manager of Operations & Tongda Division, Xiamen Ocean Gate Container Terminal Co., Ltd.
Mr. Wang Shuli, Assistant General Manager of the Dual-Brand Container Management Center, COSCO SHIPPING Lines
Each guest shared practical experience and deep industry insights from real operational scenarios.

Throughout the forum, speakers discussed how IoT technology enables full lifecycle visibility of containers, improves risk controllability, and enhances operational predictability — ultimately supporting schedule stability, cost optimization, and efficient asset turnover.
The discussion was rich in practical value and forward-looking perspectives, addressing both current operational pain points and future industry trends. It fully highlighted Boxplus’s development philosophy of scenario-driven implementation and ecosystem collaboration, further strengthening its leadership position in the maritime IoT sector.
Strong Exhibition Presence at Booth C10
At the exhibition site, Boxplus’s booth (C10) continued to attract strong visitor traffic. Multiple themed presentations were held featuring the full IBOX smart solution portfolio, along with the newly introduced IP characters “Xiao Haima” and “Xiao Haixing”, drawing interest from domestic and international visitors for discussions and cooperation opportunities.
Moving forward, Boxplus will continue to focus on the IBOX product family as its core engine, deepen its presence in maritime IoT applications, and work with global partners to build an open, standardized, and mutually beneficial digital ecosystem — empowering efficient global container transport and supply chain operations.
