On August 25, 2022, the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Containers Cold Chain Logistics Information Service Working Group was officially established during its inaugural meeting.
As part of the annual work plan approved during the first plenary session of the fifth committee of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Containers (from now on referred to as the Container Standardization Committee), and in accordance with the requirements of the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Ministry of Transport, the working group was formed following the Charter of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Containers and the Charter for Standardization Working Groups.
By the end of July, the working group had completed the recruitment of 18 participating members, including container shipping companies, port groups, research institutions, testing agencies, logistics and transportation companies, cold chain import/export enterprises, and container yard service providers. COSCO Shipping Lines Co., Ltd. was appointed as the leading organization of the working group, with active participation from its digitalization and business departments.
