The 2024 Intermodal Asia Exhibition was held from May 22 to 24 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center.

BoxPlus participated in the event, hosting a themed session titled "Dialogue | Container Intelligence" and several product presentations. The IBOX Dry (Dry Container Management Solution) was officially launched at the exhibition.

During the event, BoxPlus presented its IBOX smart container solutions, including IBOX Reefer (Refrigerated Container Management Solution), IBOX Vessel (Onboard Container Management Solution), IBOX Inland (Inland Refrigerated Container Management Solution), and IBOX Terminal (Terminal/Depot Refrigerated Container Management Solution). The IBOX Dry was also launched for the first time.

In the "Container Intelligence" session, four experts—Douglas Owen, Li Jichun, Yao Lewei, and Cai Linyu—joined moderator Afra Guo to discuss smart container development, strategies, and future direction.

The discussion covered topics such as the current state of China’s container industry, strategies for implementing container intelligence, the future of dry container intelligence, and suggestions for standardizing digital transformation in the industry.

During the Q&A session, the audience asked questions about SMART PTI, smart container solutions, and their role in safeguarding temperature-sensitive and perishable goods.

The session attracted over 200 industry professionals from around the world.
